Return to practice – Wednesday 1 September

We are pleased to report that the dojo will re-open on 1 September 2021 with initial classes at Mycenae House (Room 15) on Wednesdays (7.15pm – 8.15pm) and Saturdays (10.00am – 12.00 noon).

We hope to return to our normal schedule as soon as possible and prospective new members should contact us before coming to a class by emailing

Status update in response to the Covid-19 situation

Mycenae House will close at 5pm today (Friday 20 March 2020) for at least the next 14 days. Accordingly, our aikido classes are cancelled for that period and we will update you in due course on the dojo response going forward.

This remains a very challenging period for the country and students will have many issues to address: please take care of yourself and look out for those at most risk.

Aikido Demonstration

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: 4.00pm Monday 30th September

Sensei Colman Glynn, 6th Dan Shidoin, was invited to give a demonstration at the Bank’s headquarters in London. The demonstration formed part of a wider programme to promote Asian culture, contributing to EBRD’s annual diversity week to promote awareness and improve the Bank’s diversity and inclusion.
