Due to the Covid pandemic the dojo remains closed in accordance with Government advice. We are closely following the changes in restrictions and will begin communicating the Dojo opening timetable as soon as the Government guidance changes.
Status update in response to the Covid-19 situation
Mycenae House will close at 5pm today (Friday 20 March 2020) for at least the next 14 days. Accordingly, our aikido classes are cancelled for that period and we will update you in due course on the dojo response going forward.
This remains a very challenging period for the country and students will have many issues to address: please take care of yourself and look out for those at most risk.
Greenwich Aikido Course – Saturday 7 March
Colman Glynn Sensei (BAF, 6th Dan, Shidoin) and Despina Kyriacou Sensei (BAF, 5th Dan, Shidoin) will be hosting a course on Saturday 7 March at Thomas Tallis School in Kidbrooke.

Aikido Demonstration
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: 4.00pm Monday 30th September
Sensei Colman Glynn, 6th Dan Shidoin, was invited to give a demonstration at the Bank’s headquarters in London. The demonstration formed part of a wider programme to promote Asian culture, contributing to EBRD’s annual diversity week to promote awareness and improve the Bank’s diversity and inclusion.
Greenwich Aikido Course – Saturday 21 September
Colman Glynn Sensei (BAF, 6th Dan, Shidoin) will be hosting a course on Saturday 21 Septwember at Thomas Tallis School in Kidbrooke.

Greenwich Aikido Dojo Timetable
The dojo will be closed from Saturday 17 August, with classes resuming on Saturday 31 August due to our annual attendance at the British Aikido Federation Summer School in Chester.
Kanazawa Shihan, 7th Dan will be representing Hombu Dojo along with Senior Instructors of the BAF.

Despina Kyriacou Sensei (Shidoin, 5th Dan, Whitechapel Aikido) and Colman Glynn Sensei (Shidoin, 6th Dan, Greenwich Aikido) will be hosting a course on Saturday 13 July from 13:00 until 16:30 at Thomas Tallis School in Kidbrooke.

BAF National Course – 15th & 16th June
BAF National Course at Oxford University Sports Centre on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.
The Saturday class in Oxford will be led by Colman Glynn Sensei, 6th Dan, Shidoin.
Greenwich Dojo will therefore be closed on Saturday 15th June. Classes resume as normal on Wednesday 19th June.
